Scrap Day = Great Success!

The big fundraising scrap day has been and gone, and whew... what a huge day that was! We kicked off in the morning with a 3 hour class, to make a double page layout (similar to the one here), which was loads of fun!

I had a great time teaching the class, and met lots of lovely ladies!

After a quick break for lunch, we did a fantastic card class with Michele, which was great too (and there's 9 handmade cards done and dusted for the year!)

After dinner, we all knuckled in for some serious...ish scrapping time.  Loads of pages were done, and lots of prizes were handed out. 

We haven't got a final tally yet on funds raised, but we are pretty confident that we raised a lot of funds to go towards helping the people affected by cyclone yasi & the ensuing floods in the Cardwell area. 

So today I thought I'd share a few photos I took on the day, and tomorrow it'll be back into the projects!
